St. John's International Airport (YYT)

St. John's International Airport (YYT) is an international airport located 3 nautical miles (5.6 km) northwest of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It serves the St. John's Metro Area and the Avalon Peninsula. The airport is an airport of entry and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency.

It was privatized in 1998 and has since doubled passenger traffic with approximately 1.5 million in 2013. The main terminal was reconstructed and officially re-opened in January 2002.

Air Canada, WestJet, United, Provincial Airlines, Porter Airlines and Air Saint-Pierre currently offer scheduled passenger service year-round while Air Transat and SunWing offer seasonal services to Canadian and southern destinations.
